Oklahoma Player Wins $1M in Choctaw Casino Drawing
DURANT, Okla. – A Norman man has won $1 million at Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant as part of the casino’s summer prize promotion.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Douglas C. became the first winner in the 2026 edition of “3 Months. 3 Millionaires”, which will award one $1 million prize in June, July and August. The Choctaw Rewards Club member said he plans to donate part of his winnings to charity.
“I don’t feel any different”, Douglas said. “Being a millionaire is a state of mind and how you deal with folks and what you do to make this world a better place.”

Casino to Donate to Local Charity
Choctaw Casino & Resort said it will also donate $10,000 to a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit of Douglas’ choice in his hometown of Norman. Jeff Penz, Senior Director of Gaming and Hospitality for Choctaw Casino & Resort-Durant, said the promotion gives rewards members a major opportunity to win.
“We are thrilled to announce our first millionaire of the summer”, Penz said. “By the end of this summer, Choctaw Casino & Resort-Durant will have made 12 Choctaw Rewards Club members millionaires through this promotion.”

Bonus Drawing Adds $250K Winner
The casino also held its first bonus drawing on the same evening. Eden H. of Richardson, Texas, won $250,000 in the secondary prize draw. Choctaw said the bonus drawing will now take place one hour after each grand-prize drawing.
The next $1 million drawing is scheduled for July 11. Winners must be present to claim their prize.
