A Platform for Global Industry Engagement

Reflecting on the previous edition, Yip said the exhibitions continue to attract strong international participation. In 2025, the events welcomed 5,851 industry professionals from more than 90 countries and regions, demonstrating their growing global reach.

While visitor numbers remain an important indicator, Yip emphasized that organisers focus on the quality of interactions taking place on the show floor.

A key element is the Privileges Program, an invitation-only initiative aimed at senior executives and decision-makers. In 2025, the program included 438 members from 25 countries and regions, creating opportunities for strategic networking and high-level discussions.

“This combination of top-tier attendees and deep engagement underscores the event’s strong impact across the industry”, Yip said.

Technology and Innovation on the Gaming Floor

Technology will play a central role at G2E Asia 2026, which carries the theme “AI, Robotics, and New Digital Innovations for the Gaming Floor”.

According to Yip, integrated resort operators across Asia are continuing to invest in upgrades designed to improve operational efficiency and elevate the guest experience.

“Operators across the Asian integrated resort sectors are investing heavily in gaming floor upgrades and digital innovations”, he said.

The exhibition will feature technologies ranging from gaming floor management systems and digital tools to operational solutions designed to support modern casino environments.

Dedicated areas of the show floor will highlight gaming development, digital display technologies and emerging trends discussed through the Tech Talk program.

Asian IR Expo Expands the Resort Ecosystem

Running alongside G2E Asia, the Asian IR Expo focuses on the broader integrated resort ecosystem, including hospitality, tourism and entertainment infrastructure.

Exhibitors will showcase technologies covering hospitality management, guest services, analytics, security systems and smart facility management, reflecting the increasingly complex operations of modern integrated resorts.

“Exhibitors can expect to meet senior decision-makers across the integrated resort, entertainment, hospitality, and technology sectors, generating qualified leads, procurement inquiries, and strategic partnership opportunities,” Yip said.

Operators in the region are increasingly exploring solutions that combine digital innovation with entertainment and lifestyle offerings as integrated resorts evolve beyond traditional casino gaming.

Macau’s Role in the Regional Industry

Both exhibitions are held in Macau, a city that remains central to the Asian gaming and tourism sectors.

Yip said the destination has steadily expanded its offerings beyond casino gaming to include entertainment, culture and lifestyle attractions aimed at broader visitor demographics.

“Macau has long been recognized as a central hub for integrated resort development in Asia with a vibrant tourism and entertainment landscape,” he said. “With Asian IR Expo held alongside G2E Asia, the combined event brings together a diverse range of exhibitors and business functions, creating new opportunities for the broader integrated resort ecosystem while reinforcing Macau’s continuing leadership in tourism, entertainment, and hospitality development.”
