G2E Asia @ Philippines Highlights Growing Gaming Momentum
G2E Asia @ the Philippines opened this morning at the Manila Marriott Hotel, drawing thousands of gaming and entertainment executives for a two-day program.
Running from December 10-11, the event brings together more than 100 exhibitors, a focused conference agenda, and a slate of targeted networking sessions designed to connect local operators with global suppliers.
Many of the participating brands have no current footprint in the Philippines, highlighting international interest in a market that has expanded rapidly across land-based and online verticals. Organizers said the mix of exhibition showcases, education tracks and industry-led discussions has been designed to reflect both domestic priorities and the Philippines’ increasing relevance within the wider Asia-Pacific sector.

PAGCOR Leadership Sets the Agenda
The event opened with a keynote from Alejandro H. Tengco, Chairman and CEO of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). Tengco’s address offered an overview of emerging trends across the local market, with particular emphasis on regulatory developments, investment activity and opportunities tied to the country’s integrated resort sector. His remarks set a constructive tone for the gathering, which places strong weight on collaboration between government, operators and suppliers.
A formal opening ceremony followed, officiated by senior figures from several of the country’s flagship properties: Newport World Resorts President and CEO Nilo Thaddeus Rodriguez; Tiger Resort Leisure & Entertainment (Okada Manila) President and COO Nobuki Sato; Solaire Resorts President and COO Greg Hawkins; City of Dreams Manila Vice President for Gaming Operations Roger Lwin; and RX Asia Pacific Senior Vice President Yip Je Choong. Their presence underscored the degree of local support for the event and the importance of Manila’s integrated resort ecosystem to the regional conversation.
Conference Sessions Highlight Local Expertise
This year’s edition focuses heavily on the domestic market, with panel discussions and presentations from executives shaping the Philippines’ gaming and hospitality industries. Speakers include PAGCOR Assistant Vice President Ma. Vina Claudette Oca; Casino Plus CEO Evan Spytma; Newport World Resorts Chief Hospitality Officer John Lucas; Solaire Vice President for F&B Business Development Samuel Wilkes; and Okada Manila Executive Vice President for Casino Marketing Shirley Tam.
Conference organizers said the goal is to provide attendees with actionable insights into operations, customer experience, marketing, regulatory expectations and the evolving iGaming environment. With the Philippines continuing to draw investment from major regional players, the emphasis on practical, locally grounded expertise reflects the market’s complexity and accelerating growth.

On December 10, attendees will participate in dedicated slots, iGaming, IT and marketing networking cocktails, followed by an industry after-party at KAO Day & Night Club. December 11 features table games and iGaming networking sessions and closes with the G2E Asia Closing Party, open to all registered participants.
Event organizers said the scheduled activities are designed to help operators, suppliers and service providers expand partnerships and identify new commercial opportunities as the Philippines continues to cement its regional leadership role.
With strong turnout and broad industry backing, the Manila edition of G2E Asia signals continued confidence in one of Asia’s most dynamic gaming markets.
