BetMGM Teams up with Borgata Hotel & Casino for Poker Tournaments
BetMGM and Borgata Hotel & Casino have announced the return of major live poker action this fall with three headline tournaments scheduled between September 8 and November 17. The announcement follows the successful Borgata Summer Poker Open, which recorded more than 9,500 tournament entries and awarded over $5.5 million in prize pools, reaffirming Borgata’s position as a leading poker venue on the East Coast.

The fall schedule features three distinct tournament series: the Borgata Big, the Big Buy Series, and Lions of the Atlantic. Each event is designed to attract a wide range of players by combining high buy-ins, large prize guarantees, and a variety of tournament formats. The series will culminate with the Borgata Fall Open, which is expected to draw a large player field and generate significant prize pools.

Participants can register directly through the BetMGM Poker app, where qualifying opportunities are also offered, enabling players to secure their seats at a lower cost. This approach builds a bridge between digital access and in-person competition at Borgata in Atlantic City.
"These three events directly demonstrate the growth of BetMGM Poker and our continued partnership with Borgata. By bringing bigger buy-ins, larger prize pools and a diverse tournament structure to players this fall, we cement our status as the premier online and on-property poker destinations."
As part of the expanded partnership, Borgata and BetMGM will also unveil a cross-branded poker room and tournament space on September 7. The opening will be marked by an exclusive deck cutting event and will serve as a symbolic link between BetMGM’s digital platform and Borgata’s established live poker environment. The new facility is positioned to become a central hub for both cash games and major tournaments.
