Evolution Launches First Live Dealer Craps Game
Craps is always a highlight of the casino floor, and now live gaming provider Evolution has become the first to offer a live dealer version of the popular table game.
While Craps is a famous game, it is relatively complicated, and Evolution has said that they have addressed this issue with a number of features designed to make it easier to understand.
The features include an “Easy Mode” as well as an interactive tutorial that is designed to help beginner players get started. There will be some inevitable differences to the land-based game, such as the fact that players cannot roll the dice for themselves. Nonetheless, Evolution is confident that it will appeal to newcomers and experienced players alike.
The game itself is set in an underground speakeasy-themed studio. It will offer all of the standard Craps bets when played in regular mode, while in Easy Mode, just the one roll bets, Place to Win, and Place to Lose multi-roll bets are available.
Together with the live game, Evolution will be launching a random number generator of the game that will be added to its first-person portfolio of games.
Speaking about the new game, Todd Haushalter, the Chief Product Officer at Evolution, said, “Craps completes the Evolution portfolio in terms of offering every game you can find in a land-based casino. Developing the game and capturing the unique excitement of the Craps table, but in an online setting, was a complex project. The team has done a phenomenal job, and we now have a fantastic finished product that I know will thrill Craps enthusiasts in the US, Europe, and beyond, as well as attracting legions of new fans.”
He went on to say that, “Craps has been our most requested new game by both players and operators for years – now it’s finally here.”
