GAN to License Ainsworth Slots in the US

GAN Limited (NASDAQ: GAN), an industry leading gaming and sports betting provider, has announced that it has reached an agreement with the Australian gaming supplier Ainsworth Game Technology Limited (ASX: AGI), to gain exclusive rights to all of the supplier’s existing and future online games.

GAN’s expansion plans will see it start with the online content licensing fees for Ainsworth’s existing New Jersey operations and then move on to Michigan and Pennsylvania later in the year. Ainsworth launched its slots in New Jersey with Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) in October last year on PlaysugerHouse.com.

The latest deal is part of GAN’s broader content acquisition strategy that will increase its ‘take rate’ on iGaming B2B gross operator revenue. The company will also secure a share of revenues from B2C operators that are not from its existing client base.

For Ainsworth, the deal means that they can work with a single long-term online partner with an existing major distribution network in the US, and at the same time focus resources on quickly expanding their online portfolio. As part of the deal, Ainsworth will be increasing their online library with 110 additional games, meaning that GAN’s platform clients will have access to an exclusive portfolio of games.

Jeff Berman GAN Chief Commercial Officer

This agreement ensures that GAN possesses differentiated and exclusive access to what we believe will be an ever-growing focus on recognized retail gaming content naturally sought-after by Americans engaged in playing online casino games. Our goal is to continue to build a leading portfolio of U.S. casino games to benefit our diverse clients and establish ourselves as exclusive providers of premier U.S. content. We are excited to extend our long-standing relationship with Ainsworth, as they have built a global reputation for developing award-winning games for both the online and land-based channels.

Jeff BermanGAN Chief Commercial Officer

Jason Lim, the General Manage Online of Ainsworth, described the deal as testament to GAN’s leading online distribution across the US and to Ainsworth’s collection of games. He added, “We are thrilled to be partnering with GAN to further solidify each of our leading positions in the industry.”
