Neteller and Skrill No Longer an Option for Norwegian Gamblers

Skrill and Neteller, two of the best-known and most used e-wallets, have said that they have stopped processing online gambling payments in Norway. This means that players can no longer use them for deposits at casinos. The new rules began on 8 December, and players and operators have already felt the impact.

Both Neteller and Skrill have been available to Norwegian players and sports bettors for a number of years. They are widely considered to be secure, trustworthy, and user-friendly, but now people will need to find an alternative payment method if they are to continue depositing and withdrawing from online gambling sites.

You can no longer use e-wallets for online gambling payments in Norway

However, the services have not been completely cut off to Norwegians. It is still possible to use the e-wallets for money transfers, non-gambling online transactions, and so on. They can also make use of Paysafe’s e-wallet cryptocurrency services.

Affiliates have been told that they should update their website content to inform players of the new rules and make sure that they are fully aware of the current regulations. In the meantime, while players can no longer deposit using these methods, they will be able to withdraw funds until 21 December.

Now that Skrill and Neteller have withdrawn from online gambling payments in Norway, the only real option left or players is ecoPayz, which is still available at online casinos and sportsbooks in Norway and much of the rest of the world.
