Playtech Sports Betting Products are Coming to the US

Playtech (LON: PTEC), a major supplier in the gambling industry that is listed on the London stock exchange, has made a major move to expand its presence in the US through a new partnership with Novomatic Americas.

The new non-exclusive sports betting alliance will build upon the companies’ existing long-term partnership. It will see the two companies work together to market, sell and distribute sports betting products in the US.

Thanks to the agreement, Playtech’s self-service betting terminals will be delivered through Novomatic ActionBook, which is one of the most popular betting kiosks in the country. At present, Novomatic ActionBook is available in 11 states and at 49 different locations and its clients include DraftKings and Penn National Gaming.

Furthermore, the partnership will also give prospective customers access to Playtech’s mobile sportsbook and player account management platform.

Novomatic Americas president and CEO Rick Meitzler said that the company is pleased to have expanded its relationship with Playtech and they are looking forward to introducing the sports betting products to the Novomatic ActionBook. He added, “We are confident that Playtech’s proven sports betting expertise in a wide range of regulated markets will further cement the Novomatic ActionBook’s status as the US market’s most popular sports wagering kiosk.”
