Scientific Games Takes FireKeepers Live Online
Scientific Games (NASDAQ: SGMS) has announced a new deal with the FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Michigan, launching online casino and sports betting for the resort.
Open since 2009, the FireKeepers Casino is now one of the largest tribal gaming operators in the United States. The casino, which is located in Battle Creek, Michigan, is home to 2,900 slot machines, 70 table games, numerous restaurants, and lounges, as well as a sportsbook that opened last summer. This summer, FireKeepers will be opening a major expansion that will include a second hotel tower, a new high limit gaming area featuring slots and tables, and a new location for the award-winning Nibi restaurant.
The deal will see Scientific Games provide its full suite of products to FireKeepers, including the popular OpenGaming platform that features games from top developers and provides operators with extensive capabilities.
In addition, to bring a vast amount of casino content to players, FireKeepers’ members will also be able to enjoy sports betting on the Scientific Games OpenSports platform, which has seen a vast amount of betting activity for major sporting events across the world this year. As such, FireKeepers is set to offer players a complete online gambling experience.
