The first game in the series, Lord Merlin & The Lady of the Lake, followed the adventures of the magician, while the new game focuses on the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, which is all about bravery and chivalry.

The company has aimed to take the popular genre of slots based upon the Arthurian legend and expand it into areas that players may not have come across before. That is why each game in the series explores secondary characters from the tales rather than just focusing on King Arthur and Sir Lancelot, as many existing games already do.

It is a 5-reel slot with 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines that comes with a number of exciting features. The game has a top payout of 10,000 times the bet and it offers a free spins round complete with a guaranteed spin with a x100 multiplier. In addition, there are special Shield Spins that also offer multipliers of x100.

Play’n GO’s CPO, Martin Zettergren, has said that he believes exploring narratives is a great way to bring new ideas to slots.
