UK Gambling Commission Flex Their Muscles
Shocking news has been released by the UK Gambling Commission with the announcement that they have suspended the operating license of BGO Entertainment.
The suspension is in relation to section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005 and raises concerns that BGO Entertainment have failed to protect their customers.
Existing customers will be pleased to hear that even though BGO is suspended, they will still be able to access their accounts and withdraw any funds.
There are five websites in the BGO Entertainment Group, bgo.com, m.bgo.com, powerspins.com, vegasluck.com, and chilli.com.
BGO have been quick to release a statement in relation to the suspension, “Following a notification from the Gambling Commission of Great Britain that BGO Entertainment limited operating license has been suspended, it is with regret that we have to inform you that UK players are not currently permitted to access any of our services.”
“We’re working with the Gambling Commission to resolve this situation quickly, but in the meantime, you are able to withdraw any funds currently in your account. Deposits will not be permitted.”
This is not the first time that BGO have been in trouble with the UKGC. In 2020, they were fined £2million for several failures, including not keeping customers safe and failing to prevent money laundering.
