The DRA announced the sanction on April 30, 2025, following a Disciplinary Committee hearing that found Jenkins guilty of match manipulation between February 2022 and July 2023.

The investigation revealed that Jenkins fixed 12 Modus Super Series matches over the 17-month period. He was also found to have shared inside information with bettors.

The 54-year-old player also confessed to placing wagers on 88 darts matches between March 2022 and May 2023, violating DRA rules that prohibit players from betting on darts games.

Jenkins' suspension is backdated to November 15, 2023, and will last until November 14, 2034. Jenkins will also serve a 12-month suspension for the betting offense, which will run at the same time as the match-fixing ban.

In addition to the ban, Jenkins has been ordered to pay a fine of £17,580.03 ($23,414), due by December 31, 2026, or by November 14, 2034, at the latest.

Last December, two players were also banned for eight years and a decade for similar offenses.
