bet365 Becomes Seventh Sportsbook in Kansas
bet365 has launched its online sportsbook in Kansas, becoming the seventh digital operator authorized to offer wagering in the state. This entry marks another step in the company's ongoing rollout across the US. With the timing of the launch occurring just before the 2025 NFL season, Kansas bettors can now engage with a new platform offering a broad selection of betting options.

With this latest launch, bet365 is now active in 14 regulated US jurisdictions. The Kansas market already features major operators such as BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, ESPN Bet, Fanatics and FanDuel. Legalized in 2022, Kansas permits both online and in-person sports betting, with three physical casinos currently providing retail wagering. bet365's arrival gives players in the state additional choices for placing bets across various leagues and events.

In March, the company entered Illinois via a partnership with Walker's Bluff Casino Resort, securing rights for both mobile and retail operations within the state.
Just days later, the operator was cleared to go live in Tennessee after receiving a license from the state's Sports Wagering Council. It became the 12th sportsbook approved to operate in Tennessee. These back-to-back launches demonstrate the brand's fast-paced strategy to build a strong footprint in both emerging and mature betting territories across the country.
Plans are also in place for a future rollout in Missouri. bet365 has signed a multiyear deal with the St. Louis Cardinals, giving the company access to that market once Missouri implements its online sports betting regulations. The agreement also includes advertising and promotional collaborations with the MLB team.

bet365 Targets Women's Sports Organizations for Partnerships
Alongside its geographic expansion, bet365 is focusing on partnerships that promote women's sports. In June, the company secured a long-term agreement with the Chicago Sky of the WNBA. The alliance makes bet365 an official partner of the team and reflects its broader marketing push in the US sports landscape.
Through the deal, bet365 receives branding visibility within Wintrust Arena, where the Sky host their home games. The partnership also features promotional efforts across social media and television, underscoring bet365's aim to establish a consistent brand presence in women's professional basketball.
The UK-based operator also struck a partnership with the Indiana Fever, another WNBA team, making it bet365's second such alliance with a US women's sports organization. The agreement allows bet365 to promote its brand on the Fever's app, social channels, and radio broadcasts. The collaboration includes fan-focused events and marketing activations designed to strengthen engagement and visibility among sports fans.
bet365's Kansas launch comes at a time when the state has placed restrictions on license renewals for sportsbook operators. Earlier this year, lawmakers passed Senate Bill 125, which prevents the Kansas Lottery from using funds to renegotiate or extend contracts with current sportsbook partners before the 2026–27 fiscal year begins.
Under the terms of the legislation, this temporary restriction remains in place through June 30, 2026. Despite the limitation, bet365 was able to secure entry under the existing regulatory structure, positioning the brand for growth in the state's maturing betting market.
