First of Its Kind UNO Social Club Appears in Las Vegas

UNO, one of the most popular games in the United States, is getting its own table on the Las Vegas Strip as Mattel, the owner of the game, launched the very first "UNO Social Club" at the Palms Casino Resort.
Later this year, more pop-ups of the one found at the Palms Casino Resort will appear across the country.
The Classic Game Lands in Vegas
In addition to more traditional casino games like blackjack, poker, or slot machines, with the UNO Social Club, there will be tables, dealers, and UNO-themed areas for variants of the game like UNO Teams, UNO Golf, and more.
There’s a suite at the Palms Casino Resort that’s chock-full of UNO’s signature colors: red, yellow, blue, and green.
In that same suite, there’s also a bowling alley. The exact description, courtesy of the press release, reads, "a technicolor suite drenched in the brand's iconic red, yellow, blue, and green colors, packed with UNO-themed features, including a private bowling alley and game-inspired décor."

Looking Back and What’s Next
UNO is a game that, according to the National Museum of Play, 80% of households in the United States own, earning the title of "America's favorite game."
It was invented in 1971 by a barber named Merle Robbins, and Mattel acquired the rights to it in 1992.
As mentioned, there will be additional UNO Social Clubs popping up around USA casinos, at bars and other entertainment outfits with cocktails, tournaments, and opportunities to take photos.
"We created UNO Social Clubs to reimagine what game night can be—bringing people together for real-world fun, connection, and a bit of friendly competition. The UNO Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning, and we're excited to see how these new experiences inspire players to show up, play hard, and make unforgettable memories," said Ray Adler, the Vice President and Global Head of Games at Mattel.
