The event brought industry players to Mexico’s Caribbean coast for two days of discussions and networking. Held at the Cancun Center from November 24-26, the gathering marked the organisation’s first major outing in Latin America and signalled growing momentum in the region’s maturing online gambling market.

Roughly 300 delegates attended, beginning with a casual networking evening at Aloft Cancun on November 24. Industry participants described the opening session as a useful entry point before the event shifted into a fuller agenda over the following two days.

Panels Reflect a Fast-Moving LatAm Landscape

The conference programme on November 25 featured more than ten panel sessions and over 30 speakers, many of whom focused on the rapid evolution of Mexico’s market and the wider LatAm environment. Topics ranged from regional SEO strategies and operator-affiliate dynamics to provider collaborations and shifting user-acquisition models. Attendees said the discussions captured a mix of optimism and practical challenges as regulatory frameworks and competitive pressures continue to develop across the region.

The first day concluded with evening networking at Mandala Beach Club, where operators and affiliates continued talks against a more relaxed backdrop.

Keynotes, Awards and Industry Recognition

The second day maintained a brisk pace. One of the most closely watched sessions came from Google’s Jesús Daniel Quezada, who delivered a keynote on branding trends in online gambling and the changing demands of digital marketing in fast-growth regions.

The AffPapa iGaming Awards LATAM followed in the evening, recognising standout performers across the affiliate, operator and B2B segments. The awards added a celebratory element to an otherwise education-focused schedule, reinforcing the view that the LatAm market has entered a more competitive and sophisticated phase.

AffPapa and iGaming Club CEO Levon Nikoghosyan said the turnout and discussions reflected a step change in engagement across the continent. “I can already feel the momentum growing in the LatAm market, and we’re thrilled to be part of this journey”, he said following the event. Organisers also credited sponsors Caliente, Betting Software, Evoplay, Cubeia and Gateway Crypto for supporting the conference.

The Cancun event also capped months of preparation after AffPapa confirmed its expansion into the Latin American market, setting the foundation for its first large-scale iGaming Club presence in the region.
