Inspired Entertainment’s Games Arrive in Michigan
Inspired Entertainment (NASDAQ: INSE) has announced that it has entered the Michigan market with its remote gaming server platform now live in the state. There is already a selection of the developer’s popular games available, and more titles are due to be launched in the near future.
Inspired has a huge portfolio of games that includes numerous slots and virtual sports betting titles, all of which can be enjoyed on mobile devices. Furthermore, the developer has produced a number of games specifically for players in the North American market.
We are thrilled to launch our Interactive games in Michigan, which has been a key focus of our growth strategy. North America is a priority market for our Gaming, Interactive, and Virtual Sports businesses, and our footprint has been expanding rapidly. As more States pass legislation in the flourishing US iGaming market, we believe we are well-positioned to bring our products to market with a detailed game launch strategy and high-profile partners already in place.
Inspired has been specifically targeting the Michigan market. The state has a population of roughly 10 million people and it reported $94.9 million from internet gaming gross receipts in April this year, a figure that compares favorably to New Jersey’s internet gaming gross receipts of $107.8 million for the same period.
Inspired was granted a provisional license by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) in January this year, and it has since been working to develop an expanded portfolio of games certified by Gaming Laboratories International and the MGCB for the state.
