The deal builds on an existing partnership between Merkur and Gaming Arts, formalized through a supply agreement in 2023. The Nevada Gaming Commission approved the acquisition in May 2025 while also granting Merkur Gaming a license to manufacture and distribute in the state.

The acquisition unites Merkur’s operations in 90 countries with Gaming Arts’ strong US presence, creating a formidable player in the gaming industry.

The acquisition is a key element of our re-entry strategy into the U.S. market, one of the most respected and strictly regulated gaming markets worldwide. With Gaming Arts, we are now able to place Merkur products directly in a wide range of US jurisdictions. This marks an important step in expanding our international growth beyond European borders.
