Noirétable Casino Purchased by Golden Palace Group
Golden Palace, the Belgian casino group, has purchased the Noirétable Casino, located in the French town of Noirétable in Loire. The purchase comes a few years after the Golden Palace group acquired the Boulogne Casino in Pas-de-Calais.
The Noirétable Casino was opened in 2005 in a village of just 1800 people. Visitors can enjoy blackjack, a Boule table, 72 slot machines with bets ranging from €0.01 up to €1, eight electronic roulette tables, and several festive events. Despite its quiet location, the casino has succeeded in attracting large number of players and in 2019, it passed the one million visitors mark.
Visitors to the Noirétable Casino can also enjoy a restaurant area with La Brasserie and there is a bar for players. Outside is L’Annex, a quiet area where players can enjoy a relaxing break from the tables. In addition to the gaming floor, the casino has three reception rooms, one of which can hold 400 people, for private and corporate events.
The Golden Palace group has said that it will be investing €800,000 in the casino. The money will go towards renewing the slot machines, the gaming tables, and renovating the building. The casino’s employees will stay in their jobs and “continue their mission of animation and entertainment”.
