NorthStar Becomes an Authorized Gaming Operator in NBA Deal
NorthStar Gaming, who operate Ontario-based NorthStar Bets, and the National Basketball Association (NBA) have teamed up in a deal that makes the NorthStar sportsbook an Authorized Gaming Operator.
Under the terms of the agreement, NorthStar Bets will receive real-time NBA data, and this will be packaged by the gaming operator to give players a more comprehensive and enjoyable betting experience.
Also, details of the partnership allow NorthStar Bets to use the NBA logos and branding marks across all its platforms. NorthStar already has a deal with the NHL to provide game data with pre-game and in-game betting, and the NBA deal builds on the content NorthStar offers to its players.
This tie-in with the NBA is a big step forward for the operator because the NorthStar Bets Sportsbook has only been live in Ontario since June.
