Playtech Signs New Deals with Norsk Tipping
Playtech has announced that it has signed two new agreements to provide Norsk Tipping, Norway’s national gaming operator, with a couple of its products, online casino games, and VLTs (Video Lottery Terminals). Playtech won the agreements after two public procurement processes run by Norsk Tipping.
Playtech has been supplying the operator VLT platforms, games, terminals, and services since 2003 and online casino games since 2016. The new agreements will see the partnership between the two entities expand and extended.
Thanks to the online casino agreement, Norsk Tipping’s players will enjoy more of Playtech’s games, including those from the game studios Origins, Quickspin, Vikings, Rarestone, and Ash. The VLT agreement will see Playtech’s VLT games rollout to gaming terminals across Norway and Playtech will also be working with the operator to create bespoke content for the market.
The COO at Playtech, Shimon Akad, welcomed the new agreements. He said that the company’s products have already proven popular with Norsk Tipping’s players.
We are excited to continue supplying our strong roadmap of content to them as part of developing a market-leading, modern and responsible online and retail game offering to their players.
The Head of Gaming Operations at Norsk Tipping, Hans Erland Ringsvold, said that the company is excited to extend its partnership with Playtech and that they are looking forward to bringing Playtech’s online casino and VLT games to its platform.
We are confident that Playtech’s proven VLT and online casino expertise in a wide range of regulated markets will continue to provide great value for Norsk Tipping and support us in the delivery of our overall content strategy.
