Habanero Granted Romanian Online License

Habanero, the developer of premium online slots and table games, has been granted an online license to provide Romanian-based operators with its popular gaming content.

Having received accreditation from the Romanian gambling regulator (ONJN), Habanero can now expand its footprint into another new territory. Online gambling has been legal and regulated in Romania since 2016.

It means that Romanian operators can now offer their players Habanero’s entire portfolio of games, which number roughly 70, including the popular slots Wizards Want War!, Egyptian Dreams Deluxe, Happiest Christmas Tree and 5 Lucky Lions.

This latest certification comes just a few weeks after Habanero was awarded a much sought after license from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), which opened the doors to numerous European markets.

Recent times have seen Habanero working hard to expand its presence and build its tier-one credentials. Last year saw the company team up with a number of leading operators such as Bet365, LeoVegas (STO: LEO), and Playtech (LON: PTEC). Habanero are now licensed in sixteen markets including the UK, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Estonia, Denmark, Croatia, Colombia, and Bulgaria.
