San Jose Police Arrest Juveniles After Casino Assault and Robbery
In June, an armed robbery and assault occurred outside of a San Jose, California, casino. The name of the casino is unknown. Now, police say they’ve arrested five juvenile males in connection with the crime, which left the victim injured.

The original incident occurred on June 23 at approximately 8:54 p.m. PDT. Four of the five arrested confronted the victim, attempting to take his bag as he left the casino, per police.
From there, one of the suspects pointed a gun at the man. He wasn’t shot, but was hit with the firearm. The suspects then fled by vehicle with about $2,000 and other items that belonged to the victim. The victim was hospitalized and later released.

Suspects Later Identified
Following this incident, police identified five juvenile males as suspects and obtained both arrest and search warrants. Then, on Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, the SJPD Covert Response Unit, alongside robbery detectives and Livermore, California, police, arrested the five and found additional evidence tying them to the crime.
The five juvenile males were booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and brandishing a firearm. The names of the juveniles aren’t known, but their ages are: 18, 17, 17, 16, 12.
