BetBlocker allows players to block more than 118,000 online gaming sites and currently has 150,000 active users globally, including over 10,000 sign-ups in the United States.

According to the partners, their alliance reflects a shared dedication to helping players control their online betting habits.

The single most effective way for BetBlocker to reach the audience that stands to benefit from our tool is via partnerships with the industry. ROGA represents a coordinated effort by the US industry to improve responsible gaming standards throughout the sector. Having their backing for the BetBlocker project is a significant step forward for our organisation and will ensure that people who want support to structure where and when they can play online will be able to do so anonymously and for free.

Founded in March 2024, ROGA is an independent body that represents 90% of the legal operators in the US sports betting industry. The association comprises eight sports betting companies, including FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, bet365, Fanatics, Bally’s Corporation, PENN Entertainment, and Hard Rock Digital.

ROGA was established to raise the standard for responsible online gaming through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to evidence-based practices. Making resources like BetBlocker more visible and accessible is one way we put that mission into action. We’re equipping individuals with practical tools that support their decisions and well-being.

Customizable Support for Better Gaming Control

The BetBlocker app can be easily installed on Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Fire OS devices. By reducing barriers to access, the service seeks to empower more people to take control of their gaming. This new collaboration with ROGA will complement the platform’s dedicated US service launched in March 2025.

ROGA’s player-centric approach highlights its members’ commitment to prioritizing player safety and well-being. The partnership comes as BetBlocker prepares to launch a scheduling feature that will allow players to create customized profiles that ensure blocks are in place when needed.
