Asoyan Becomes Digitain's Group Deputy CEO of Technology

Sportsbook software and iGaming platform provider Digitain has promoted Grigor Asoyan to the new role of Group Deputy CEO of Technology.

Asoyan has been with the company for more than a decade. He became a staff of Digitain in 2012 when the company appointed him as a Senior Software Engineer, and Software Architect.

In 2018, He became the company's Chief Technology Officer, a role he held for 5 years before getting his latest promotion.

Before his stint at Digitain, he gathered experience working at other brands in the technology field, like MLab ECA and Energize Global Services.

I'm delighted in this new role within the business. Digitain has been a great brand to be part of over the last ten years and has experienced growth in all areas of its operations across multiple global markets.

Digitain was initially launched as a national lottery in Armenia in 1999 before the company evolved into a B2C Affiliate company and finally a software, platform, and Sportsbook solutions provider in 2004. The business currently boasts more than 55 partners worldwide and 350 land-based bet shops serviced by over 1,300 employees.

In February 2023, Digitain announced its plan to enter the live casino market with games from its newly launched subsidiary service named Imagine Live.
