Gigablox™ Mechanic Coming to 4ThePlayer Slots
4ThePlayer.com, one of Yggdrasil Gaming’s YG Masters partners, has signed up to Yggdrasil’s new Game Engagement Offering (GEM) and is set to boost its future game production by making use of Yggdrasil’s Gigablox™ mechanic.
The GEM program gives 4ThePlayer the ability to utilize the popular mechanic in its future games, with the aim of increasing player engagement and retention levels. The Gigablox™ mechanic was first used in Yggdrasil’s proprietary games and helped to make the slots Hades and Lucky Neko two of Yggdrasil’s best performing titles last year.
The mechanic essentially enables dynamic reels to create gigantic blocks of up to 6x6 stacked, which can lead to huge wins for players, as well as ramping up the tension and excitement of each spin.
A number of other developers have already signed up for the GEM offering, including Peter & Sons, Reflex Gaming, DreamTech Gaming and Bang Bang Games, and the first games to make use of the mechanics are due to be released later this year. Those on the program can also make use of the Splitz™ and MultiMAX™ mechanics, both of which have proven very popular, and further mechanics are expected to be added soon.
