Industry Partnerships and Announcements – Week of January 4

The first week of 2021 saw a number of new partnerships and deals announced in the iGaming industry. Here is the latest news on content deals, partnerships, and expansions into new markets from the leading iGaming companies.

Incentive Games Partners with Betsson Group in Africa

Incentive Games has reached a partnership deal with the Betsson Group (STO: BETS-B) that will see a number of its games launched on the Betsafe brand in Kenya.

Incentive Games, which is based in Edinburgh, has already helped to establish a number of brands in the African market. In addition to a number of free play customer acquisition and retention games, the company also has bespoke African virtual and jackpot products.

The products have proven themselves to be excellent tools for acquiring and retaining customers in the African market as they have been specifically developed to reduce cellular data use. Cellular data costs are often a significant barrier for African players. Furthermore, the games are sports-focused, meaning that they appeal to players that are not interested in casino games.

Habanero Reaches Content deal with EGT Digital

Habanero has signed a content deal with EGT Digital

Habanero, the developer of online slots and casino table games, has reached a content deal with EGT (CVE: EGT), a rapidly growing European platform provider.

The deal will see Habanero's award-winning portfolio of more than 100 games integrated with the casino platform operated by EGT Digital. Furthermore, they are set to go live across multiple markets.

It means that those who use EGT Digital's platform will be able to enjoy all of Habanero's most popular games, such as Italian classic Scopa, a gamified slot that has found worldwide success, as well as Knockout Football Rush, London Hunter, Lucky Fortune Cat, and more.

Habanero is licensed in 14 European countries, and last year it reached partnership deals with numerous leading operators, including Bet365, LeoVegas (STO: LEO), and Marathonbet.

Kambi Group and JVH Gaming Sign Long-Term Partnership

The Kambi Group plc (OTCMKTS: KMBIF), a sports betting operator, has reached a multi-year partnership agreement with the JVH gaming and entertainment group, one of the Netherlands' leading casino operators.

JVH is planning to utilize Kambi's sportsbook and suite of front-end and price differentiation tools to launch a sports betting offering for the Dutch market. It is expected to go live in the second half of this year, assuming that it receives all necessary regulatory approvals.

Each year more than four million players visit JVH group's venues across the Netherlands. They operate more than 80 gambling locations under brands such as Jack's Casino and Flash Casinos. They now hope to enter the world of online gambling and see the sports betting platform as a vital component.

ORYX Gaming Signs Deal to Take JVH Group Online

ORYX Gaming has signed a new partnership

ORYX Gaming (TSXV:BRAG.V) has expanded its presence into the Netherlands with a new deal with the JVH gaming & entertainment group, a leading land-based operator. The deal will see ORYX provide JVH with its iGaming platform ORYX Hub, integrate with the Kambi sportsbook, and provide a range of ORYX RGS and third-party aggregated content when the Dutch operator goes online for the first time.

The online gambling market is set to open in the Netherlands in September 2021, and JVH is looking to benefit from ORYX's omni-channel and cross-product platform, which supports both casino and sportsbook products. It includes a number of tools for player and payment management, CRM and promotions, bonuses and rewards, fraud, rule engine, compliance, analytics and reporting and CMS. It will also give JVH access to the ORYX Hub, which includes more than 10,000 casino games from over 100 developers, including NetEnt and Pragmatic Play.

Last year saw ORYX reach a number of partnership deals, launch with new clients and enter more markets. The company's content is certified or approved in 18 major markets, and it recently received an ISO/IEC 27001 certificate.

The Mill Adventure Signs Deal with iSoftBet

The online games supplier and content aggregator iSoftBet has reached a deal with the start-up platform provider The Mill Adventure that will see it integrate its complete content suite and Game Aggregation Platform (GAP).

This means that iSoftBet will be providing The Mill Adventure with over 8,000 titles from 70 developers available on GAP, giving the provider's growth plan a major boost. The titles include iSoftBet's in-house developed games, such as Phantasmic Fortunes™, Gold Digger and Western Gold Megaways™.
