Kambi to Power Mohegan Gaming Sportsbook with Technology
B2B iGaming firm Kambi Group (STO: KAMBI) has entered into a content agreement with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) to provide its technology to the latter's PlayFallsview™ sportsbook.
The deal will also see Kambi launch its ice hockey betting product and Bet Builder functionality on the bookie's platform. As a leading sports betting and iGaming provider, Kambi is present in 17 US states and is partners with top operators like Penn National Gaming and Casumo.
The Canadian market, and Ontario in particular, is full of potential for Kambi and our partners, so I am pleased to have agreed this partnership with Mohegan and its Fallsview online mobile brand. I look forward to the combination of our mobile sportsbook and the prominent Fallsview name, as together we bring players in Ontario all the excitement of single and in-game wagering along with the bet combinability our sportsbook offers.
MGE owns and operates Canada's largest land-based casino Fallsview Casino. The operator launched its online and mobile sportsbook after the sports betting and iGaming market went live in Ontario. The gaming firm recently announced the appointment of Nelson Parker as Senior Vice President (SVP), Strategic Development, to "lead the development of key projects and strategic partnerships."
It's an exciting time for the mobile gaming industry as sports betting continues to grow, and we're thrilled to be entering into another partnership with Kambi on the launch of PlayFallsview online mobile sportsbook. Once launched, this will mark MGE's first online mobile gaming product outside of the United States, and we're really looking forward to our partnership with Kambi on this new venture.
Kambi was one of the earliest providers approved to launch in the Ontario market. The license gave it the legal backing to partner with operators in the jurisdiction, including MGE.
