Mohegan Gaming Names Nelson Parker Senior Vice President
Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), the gaming and resort operator, has announced the appointment of Nelson Parker as Senior Vice President (SVP), Strategic Development.
Parker’s role will be planning capital investment and future growth opportunities for the company. Additionally, he will be tasked with developing the strategy to implement the changes identified.

With over 25 years of experience driving growth strategies in both gaming and non-gaming corporations, Nelson’s expertise in omni-channel global gaming markets, Native American gaming, lodging and hospitality will contribute to MGE’s continued success.
Mohegan Gaming was founded in 1996, opening the Mohegan Sun casino and resort, and the company has become one of the leading operators of premier gaming and integrated entertainment resorts. Mohegan has grown to now operate seven gaming and casino resorts in North America and a further $5billion casino, the Inspire Resort, which is due to open in South Korea in 2023. The company has played a pivotal part in the launch of online gaming in Connecticut.
With over twenty years of industry experience, Parker has held a number of Vice President and Director roles, including at Hard Rock and Foxwoods Resort Casinos. Parker comes from his previous role as managing director at Driftwood Capital. He spent three years at the investment firm that manages three private equity funds.
