MGA Games Creates Games Academy Program to Produce New Talent

MGA Games has moved to try and ensure that the next generation of programming talent is ready to join the online slots world with their help. They have announced the start of an MGA Games Academy to train and encourage young programming talent to start up their careers.

The impressive levels of growth seen in online casinos in recent years mean that developing games for them has turned into an attractive idea for talented young people looking to get a career in programming.

MGA Games currently has a total of around 50 employees who plan and create all of their new slots games, which are used in online casinos in their native Spain, as well as in other markets.

MGA Academy encourage young talents

The Games Academy program should help to bring in fresh talent, who can be trained to boost their team and ensure that the games provider continues to progress in this highly competitive market.

They currently have eight students working on their team with them, made up of four trainee graphic artists and another four who are aspiring programmers. This scheme will give them the time and space to learn everything that they need to know about the industry.

Their statement promoting the launch of this initiative pointed out that they are interested in “attracting and retaining talent” as well as offering the sort of training that they feel will help to attract bright young people to the online gaming industry.

MGA Games currently has a portfolio of close to 100 titles. The Barcelona-based company has won awards based on their fresh, varied approach to online slots, and by looking to attract the best new talent to their company, they should ensure that they carry on growing and progressing in the future.
