Microgaming Highlights Links with Safer Gambling Charities

Microgaming, the online gaming platform provider, has highlighted its links with several gaming charities as the gambling industry looks towards the imminent start of Safer Gambling Week.

Among the gaming organizations that have links to Microgaming are Ygam, Gordon Moody, Beacon Counselling Trust, Betknowmore UK, and Motiv8 Addiction Services.

Gordon Moody explained they had used funds from Microgaming to support people who are vulnerable to problem gambling and related harms. Extra funds from Microgaming have enabled Ygam and Beacon Counselling Trust to provide educational courses and a video promotion about better mental health.

Safer Gambling Week

Safer Gambling Week is due to start next week and takes place between the 13th and 19th of November. It is a chance for all stakeholders in the iGaming industry to focus on the work that is being done to create a safer environment for vulnerable gamblers and to raise awareness of the wide range of tools that are available to players who may feel they are at risk from gambling-related harm.

Microgaming is just one of the many tier 1 gaming companies that use Safer Gambling Week to train its staff on responsible gambling and the latest regulatory changes in the gaming industry.
