Mobile Sports Betting and Casino Comes to Michigan
William Hill US (OTCMKTS: WIMHF) has launched its mobile and online sports book and casino app in Michigan after partnering with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians (GTB). The app went live on Friday, 22 January and gives players in the state the chance to enjoy both online casino games and sports betting while on the go.
Sports fans now have access to an enormous range of betting markets, including live in-play betting, while casino players will find a huge number of slots together with card and table games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat. The operator has also said that it will be running a number of promotions each week.
William Hill already had a long-term partnership with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians as the exclusive provider of sports betting, and the introduction of mobile gambling is the latest stage in it. Last year saw William Hill open The Onyx Sports Book by William Hill at Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel as well as another at a satellite location, the Leelanau Sands Casino in Northern Michigan.
William Hill is America’s leading sports betting company, which speaks volumes for their professionalism, knowledge and experience. Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos is excited to add another form of entertainment to our brand, and we are confident the William Hill online experience will be the most trusted in the industry.
Ken Fuchs, the President of Digital for William Hill US, has said that they are “excited to deliver an engaging way to experience sports betting and gaming to customers all over the state.”
With the addition of Michigan, William Hill now provides mobile sports betting in nine U.S. jurisdictions, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. It also powers the trading services for the Rhode Island Lottery mobile app.
