Pixiu Gaming Content Comes to North America
Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) has reached a multi-year deal with Pixiu Gaming, a leading bespoke game developer, to distribute the developer’s content across North American regulated markets through the OpenGaming platform.
Pixiu Gaming is behind Keno, Baccarat, and Reactor titles that are a huge hit with its key partners in Canada, such as Loto Québec, British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC). The company shares the lotteries’ focus on communities and prides itself on its responsible gaming philosophy. It has also made a number of charitable donations including to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and Kamloops Food Bank.
The deal means that operators using the OpenGaming platform in North America will have exclusive access to Pixiu’s titles. It will provide a significant boost to the platform and make it even more appealing to operators in the region.
Pixiu already has a game ready for the New Jersey market, Lucky Squeeze Baccarat, which is set to go live on the platform later this year. The game features an 8-deck shoe, a choice of five roadmaps, and gives players the ability to squeeze the cards.
