Betano Lands Title Sponsorship of Argentina’s Football League

Kaizen Gaming, the parent company of gaming operator Betano, has announced it has reached an agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) to become the Naming Sponsor of the Professional Football League, the top-flight competition in the country. The tournament will be renamed as the Torneo Betano.

Both parties believe the sponsorship collaboration will help the gaming operator accelerate its reach in the Argentine jurisdiction.

This deal sees Betano continue with its strategy to increase its footprint in the LatAm region following a title sponsorship agreement with Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, which was signed earlier this year.

Betano sees sports sponsorship of football clubs and competitions as a successful way to make an immediate impact in regulated sports betting markets and raise brand awareness in the customer audience of the most popular sport on the planet. The gaming operator has also followed the strategy with its recent sponsorship deal with Aston Villa, in the English Premier League club.

Betano and the AFA state the collaboration will allow both parties to undertake joint marketing and communications strategies.
