Exciting News for Rhode Island Casinos

The Bally’s Corporation (NYSE: BALY) has announced that it is lending its identity to the Rhode Island casinos, which have been rebranded as Bally’s Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort and Bally’s Tiverton Casino & Hotel.

A ceremony was held to celebrate the announcement of the rebranding, and Paul Juliano of Bally’s Corporation had this to say, “Today’s ceremony marks the beginning of our $100 million investment in the state of Rhode Island. Undoubtedly, the combined improvements we will make in our facilities and in our customer offerings will well-position our Rhode Island properties to continue to play a key role in the economic prosperity of our state.”

The investment in Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort is 100 million

Bally’s Corporation hold a twenty-year agreement as the sole casino operator in Rhode Island in return for a $100 million investment in its Lincoln-based enterprise and is looking to bounce back after the pandemic.

The impressive layout of the Lincoln resort includes a planned new gambling area of 40,000 square feet with a first-floor expansion which will enable all gaming machines and table games to be operated from the same floor.

This will enable the second floor to be used as a new entertainment venue.

The new development doesn’t end there, though. A massive 14000 square foot Korean Spa will be attached to the Lincoln hotel along with an upgrade to the lighting, ventilation, and the much-needed improvement to the separation between smoking and non-smoking areas.

There has not been an announcement as to how many new staff members will be employed as a result of the expansion plans, but it is estimated that the $100 million investment in the resort will take up to 14 months to be completed.
