SBC Summit Barcelona to Host Molly Bloom Poker Game
Those attending the SBC Summit Barcelona on 20-22 September can look forward to hearing a keynote speech from the entrepreneur, author and facilitator of high-stake poker games Molly Bloom.
Bloom will also be hosting an exclusive €10,000 invitational poker tournament, known as ‘Molly’s Barcelona Game’, at the iGaming event, which is set to attract numerous industry stakeholders from the region.
Gambling fans are likely to be familiar with Bloom from her memoir Molly’s Game, which was adapted into an Oscar-nominated film starring Jessica Chastain. Her keynote speech will take place on the second day of the conference, which is being held at Fira Barcelona de Montjuïc.
Bloom will talk about her experiences hosting exclusive poker games that are regularly attended by stars such as Tobey Maguire, A-Rod, Ben Affleck and Leonardo DiCaprio. The Bombay Group will sponsor her poker game and the prize money is to be provided by great.com. The winner will be donating the money to a Givewell charity of their choice.
