Second Acquisition by Stakelogic in Two Weeks
Stakelogic, the popular games developer, has acquired its second games studio in as many weeks, as it seeks to improve its in-house development capabilities.
The developer has acquired Hurricane Games it what will be a major boost to the company. Stakelogic has worked closely with Hurricane Games in the past through its Greenlogic development partner program, making it a perfect acquisition target.
Stakelogic will be retaining the Hurricane Games team and ensure that they retain the creative and technical freedom needed to design and develop unique titles. However, they will now have the backing of Stakelogic’s team.
The acquisition of Hurricane Games takes our in-house development capabilities to the next level, allowing us to grow at pace while also delivering new, exciting content to our operator partners on a regular basis. The director at Hurricane Games, Andrew Fraser, also welcomed the acquisition. He accredited Stakelogic with being “instrumental” in the company’s success so far and said that they are “thrilled” to be strengthening their relationship.
Fraser said that Hurricane Games has some “incredible concepts in the pipeline” and added that as part of Stakelogic they will have “the resources to bring them to life and deliver the best possible player experience across all of our titles.”
Stakelogic’s games can be found at more than 500 operators across the world. Last year the company released 48 classic and video slots, many of which were huge successes. They are ISO 27001 certified, and the games are certified in key markets such as the UK, Malta and Romania.
