Situated just 70 km from Bordeaux airport, and a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Coast facing the Bay of Biscay, the Casino d’Arcachon is the result of the conversion of the imposing and beautiful Chateau Deganne into a casino in 1904. This was done as a means of attracting wealthy Parisians to the local town where they could enjoy society balls and afternoon dancing during the “Belle Epoch.” The gambling venue is one of many land-based casinos owned owned and operated by the Partouce Group.

Casino d'Arcachon’s Gambling Floor

In 2015, the casino’s gaming room was completely renovated to make for a more inviting and intimate setting. Here players will find around 70 gaming machines including slots and video poker, with 12 terminals for English Roulette and 7 for electronic blackjack.

Unfortunately, there are just 2 live dealer table games, with one dedicated to blackjack, and the other to Boules. The minimum bet is €5 for Boules, going up to €50 for blackjack. Take note that the casino has an entrance fee of €70 and requires players to follow a proper dress code.

Apart from casino games, the amenities are limited to an exceptional restaurant, “O’Deganne.” It's a traditional bistro-style menu with seasonal fresh local produce. There's also a bar, “Le Bar des Jeux,” which has an extensive cocktail menu. The casino hosts weekend free concerts, along with afternoon teas and aperitif buffets.
