Flamingo Las Vegas is one of the most iconic and historic casino resorts along the famous Strip. It was opened in 1946, and it is the oldest resort on the Strip to still be in operation. Originally owned and operated by the infamous mobster Bugsy Siegel, today, the land-based casino and hotel is owned and operated by the far more respectable Caesars Entertainment.

Flamingo Las Vegas Casino Floor and Games

While not the biggest casino floor in Las Vegas, at 72,000 square feet, it is certainly one of the busiest. There are more than 1,600 slot machines, including 60 video poker machines, which cater to players of all budgets thanks to their wide range of denominations. The floor also houses 130 table games, including classics such as blackjack, roulette, and Craps, as well as Casino Poker and Wheel of Fortune games. High rollers can visit the High Limit room, while there is also a sportsbook complete with lounge seating and giant video screens.

Loyalty Program and Promotions at Flamingo Las Vegas

It is worth checking with the Flamingo before visiting to see if there are any promotions taking place, such as prize draws or tournaments. It is also worth joining the Caesars Rewards loyalty scheme. Visitors will collect points as they play, and these can be exchanged for free play, room upgrades, dining discounts, and more at over 50 Caesars venues across the US.

Amenities and Entertainment at the Historic Venue

The hotel at Flamingo has more than 3,600 rooms, including several luxury suites. There are two swimming pools, a fitness center, a spa and salon, and several restaurants, including Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse and Carlos ‘N Charlie’s Restaurant. However, the resort truly stands out for its garden courtyard that houses a wildlife habitat featuring Chilean flamingos, Ringed Teal ducks, and various other birds.

Thanks to its rich history and central location, Flamingo is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the best of Las Vegas.
