The Drew Las VegasNevada's Newest Casino & Gaming Hub
Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a hotel and casino that is set to open its doors to the public in December 2023. It is intended to be named Fontainebleau Las Vegas similar to its sister location in Miami Beach. The venue is the tallest building in the state of Nevada, excluding the nearby Strat Hotel and Casino.
The site was originally intended to be opened as The Drew Las Vegas, named after Andrew Witkoff, the 22-year-old son of Witkoff Group founder Steve Witkoff, who passed away in 2011. Over the years, the project has changed ownership many times, which resulted in frequent changes in the name.
However, as of February 2021, it has been owned by Fontainebleau Development and the resort will open under the name Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

Casino Floor at Fontainebleau Las Vegas
When the casino opens, it will showcase a vast 173,000-square-foot gaming space, rivaling many of the biggest Vegas brick-and-mortar casinos. While specifics about the offerings remain limited, visitors can anticipate a vast array of gaming machines and a great variety of players' favorite table games like craps, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker. Given the expansive size of the casino floor, the inclusion of a sportsbook, poker room, and high roller area seems highly probable.
Ongoing Promotions and Offers at Fontainebleau Las Vegas
With the venue yet to be opened, there are no details regarding promotions and special offers. However, it will be the sister property of Fontainebleau Miami Beach, which offers numerous special offers relating to accommodation, dining, and shopping, and it is fair to expect the same. Furthermore, there are sure to be casino offers and most likely a loyalty scheme.
Features and Entertainment at the Vegas Venue
The final amenities of the new venue are yet to be announced. The original plans included a convention space, a 3889-room hotel that included condominium units, two dozen restaurants, a performing arts theater, a spa inspired by the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, and a 300,000 square foot shopping mall. It is highly likely that all of these amenities will be available and details are sure to be published soon.
