Alejandro Tengco Will Be the Opening Address Speaker at ASEAN 2023
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:The 5th edition of the ASEAN Gaming Summit is set to take place in Manila, Philippines, from March 21st to 23rd, with Alejandro H. Tengco, Chairman and CEO of PAGCOR, delivering the opening address. With more than 50 speakers, hundreds of delegates, and expo visitors, this year's summit will showcase industry insights and feature a new special fireside chat format. Keynote guest speaker Daesik Han, CEO of Hann Resorts, will share his insights alongside regional operators, including INSPIRE Entertainment Resort's COO Chen Si and HOIANA Resort and Golf Senior Vice President Gillian Murphy.
Several Philippine operators will also participate in the discussions, including Newport World Resorts, Okada Manila, and Thunderbird Resorts. Additionally, Ramon Garcia, Executive Chairman and Founder of the DFNN Group of Companies, will discuss foreign investment and infrastructure development in the Philippines.
The ASEAN Gaming Summit aims to highlight the dynamism of the region, and this year's edition is set to be the largest yet, gathering hundreds of the region's leading operators, gaming regulators, and suppliers to discuss and showcase the next generation of gaming offerings, both land-based and online. The summit also includes an expanded exhibition area featuring the latest technology and advancements in the gaming industry.
Registered delegates are invited to attend the first edition of the Asia Gaming Awards in the Philippines, which will convene key stakeholders from the Asian gaming industry, including operators, regulators, suppliers, and service providers from both land-based and online spheres, to celebrate achievements within the industry.
According to Asia Gaming Brief general manager Vicky Chan, a "strong rebound in the gaming industry is expected to happen this year in Asia, especially after mainland China has lifted COVID curbs." Recovery signals have also been shown in various markets, and the ASEAN Gaming Summit is expected to deliver true value to all participants.
