Chickasaw Grand Opening of Lakecrest Casino in Oklahoma
The Chickasaw Nation announces it has recently held the grand opening of the Lakecrest Casino and Hotel near Lake Murray in Oklahoma. The ribbon cutting at the ceremony was performed by the Chickasaw Nation Governor, Bill Anoatubby, with many other dignitaries in attendance.

The facilities at the venue include an 89-room hotel including a resort pool, business, and conference space. Guests can enjoy refreshments at the coffee shop, restaurant, or hotel bar.

Significant Economic Impact on Local Community
The Chickasaw Nation boasts this latest gaming and entertainment venue will have a significant impact on the revenues of the local community.
The entertainment resort has generated over 450 jobs in a variety of roles. The positions are both full-time and part-time, with payroll costs running at an estimated $3.7 million annually. In the last year, there has been a flow of $102.4 million in revenue which includes the cost of construction.
The amount in projected income to the local economy and surrounding areas over the next five years is thought to be over $307.6 million.
The opening of Lakecrest follows a busy period for the Chickasaw Nation after they launched the Choctaw Landing resort and casino in Hochatown. The resort has 600 slots and eight table games and is due to be open to the public later this month.
