DraftKings Adds Mindway AI Tool to Responsible Gaming Center
DraftKings will add Mindway AI’s Gamalyze assessment to its Responsible Gaming Center to give customers behavior-based feedback on their play.
Mindway AI said on Monday that its Gamalyze tool will be embedded in DraftKings’ Responsible Gaming Center, marking a further step in the operator’s effort to broaden science-driven responsible gaming services. The move pairs an interactive decision-making simulator with DraftKings’ existing suite of limits, self-exclusion options and educational resources.
Gamalyze runs users through a simulated card game designed to observe in-the-moment choices. Unlike surveys or self-reporting instruments, the tool evaluates real behavior in the simulation and then generates individualized feedback aimed at helping players reflect on their decision patterns and manage play more deliberately.
“Mindway AI is committed to advancing science-based tools so that players can game responsibly. Integrating Gamalyze with DraftKings’ Responsible Gaming Center reflects our mutual commitment to providing customers with access to educational and personalized insights based on their own real-world engagement. Working with DraftKings signifies a proactive approach when it comes to responsible gaming and allows us to expand the reach and impact of these innovations across a broad and active customer base.”
Mindway AI, founded to develop behavioural and clinical screening tools using digital signals, has positioned Gamalyze as an educational rather than diagnostic experience. The simulation highlights decision tendencies – such as risk-taking, loss-chasing signals or time-on-task patterns – and delivers tailored messaging to encourage reflection and, where appropriate, safer play choices.

DraftKings’ Chief Responsible Gaming Officer Lori Kalani framed the integration as part of a wider strategy to promote informed decision-making among customers. “At DraftKings, promoting informed decision-making to our customers is central to how we engage with them, and we’re pleased to work with Mindway AI to continue such promotion”, Kalani said. “As more customers engage with tools like Gamalyze to better understand their personal play, we are continuing to enhance our culture of responsibility and innovation at DraftKings.”
The partnership follows a broader industry trend toward incorporating behavioural science and analytics into player protection. Regulators from the UK Gambling Commission to several U.S. state authorities have increasingly scrutinized how operators identify and respond to risky play, prompting many companies to invest in tech-driven interventions and third-party research collaborations.
DraftKings has previously funded academic studies and worked with advocacy groups and regulators to refine its responsible gaming approach. The addition of Gamalyze is consistent with that approach: by offering an opt-in, interactive experience, the operator can deliver personalized insights without relying solely on declarations or inferred risk flags.
Operational questions remain for players and policymakers: how the tool will be promoted to customers, what uptake DraftKings anticipates, and how behavioural outputs will be integrated with other protections such as deposit limits, time reminders and self-exclusion options. Mindway AI says Gamalyze focuses on in-session behaviour to provide reflections and education rather than clinical diagnoses.
For consumers, the immediate benefit is a low-friction, game-like experience that aims to surface personal decision patterns quickly. For regulators and responsible gaming advocates, the collaboration represents another data point in the evolving evidence base about which interventions influence safer play and whether behavior-based feedback can change downstream gambling harms.
How Players Will Experience Gamalyze
According to Mindway AI and DraftKings, customers who opt into Gamalyze will complete a short simulated card exercise followed by a personalized report that explains observed decision tendencies and offers practical tips for moderating play. The feature is intended as an educational complement to existing tools – not a replacement for formal treatment or clinical screening.
The rollout timeline and availability across jurisdictions will depend on local regulations and DraftKings’ product roadmap. Both companies said they plan to monitor engagement metrics and partner with researchers to assess the tool’s real-world impact on player behaviour over time.
