GAMOMAT, the popular developer of slot machines, has announced the launch of its latest game, Mayan Fire.
As the name suggests, the slot is based upon pre-colonial Mesoamerica, and it brings the ancient civilization to life on the reels. The game is focused on Xiu, the god of fire, and his high priestess Zyanya, and players will find themselves immersed in the world of Mayan architecture and artifacts.
It is a 5x3 slot with 10 fixed paylines, and on the reels, players are symbols including Xi, Zyanya, sculptures, and masks. The scatter symbol is a Mayan pyramid illuminated by fires, while the ornate sunstone acts as the wild symbol.
Landing at least three scatters on the reels triggers the free spins round. Better yet, during the free spins, the lower value royal symbols are removed from the reels, making it easier to land high-value combinations.
The slot is also part of GAMOMAT’s Fire Respins series of games that began with the slot Sevens Fire. Landing at least five of the Fire Orb symbols will trigger three Fire Respins. The Fire Orbs are held in place, and each time a new one lands, it too is held, and the respin counter resets to three. At the end of the round, the total value of all the Fire Orbs is awarded. There are also four fixed jackpot prizes up for grabs in the round, the Mini, Minor, Major, and Inferno, worth 50, 100, 200 and 500 times the total bet, respectively.
Finally, as with all GAMOMAT slots, there is the choice of two gamble features that can be used after a winning spin, the ladder and the card gamble, which can both be used to try to increase winnings. The company will distribute this game through the network of Oryx Gaming, as the two developers signed an exclusive distribution partnership in late 2021.
