Offset was filmed disputing the handling of his blackjack table position during a high-stakes casino session in Paris.

PARIS – Rapper Offset was filmed arguing with casino staff during a high-stakes blackjack session after other players were allowed into his table position.

The Atlanta rapper said he was wagering between $10,000 and $20,000 per hand and complained that other customers had been allowed to play in a spot he considered reserved. Offset also claimed during the confrontation that he had won around $200,000 from the casino.

The incident took place at a casino on the Champs-Élysées, although reports did not identify the property by name. Offset repeatedly challenged staff over how his position at the blackjack table was being handled.

Offset Disputes How Casino Handled Blackjack Table

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, said he had placed what he called a “disposable card” at the table and believed other customers should not have been permitted to use his position. The available footage does not establish the casino’s rules for the table or whether staff had reserved the seat specifically for him.

As the disagreement continued, Offset repeatedly referred to the size of his wagers and argued that his level of play should result in different treatment from casino employees.

“I’m betting high, you need to treat me like how I’m betting.”

The rapper also said he had beaten the casino for approximately $200,000 and could leave with the money. Reports surrounding the session were conflicting, however. TMZ said there was also word that Offset had suffered a significant loss, while members of his entourage had reportedly indicated earlier that he was ahead by about $80,000.

No arrest or other law enforcement involvement has been reported in connection with the Paris confrontation, and the footage ends without showing how the dispute was ultimately resolved.

Rapper Faced $100,000 Casino Lawsuit Earlier This Year

The incident follows another casino-related legal issue involving Offset earlier in 2026. Detroit’s MotorCity Casino Hotel sued the rapper over an alleged unpaid $100,000 gambling credit line that it said he opened in March 2024.

The casino alleged that an attempt to recover the money from Offset’s bank account was unsuccessful because of insufficient funds. A representative for the rapper said in April that they were working toward a resolution. The lawsuit’s allegations should not be treated as establishing that Offset owes the money unless resolved through the court or an agreement between the parties.

Offset Previously Shot Outside Florida Casino

The Paris episode is also the latest casino-related headline involving the rapper this year. In April, Offset was injured in a shooting outside Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The shooting occurred near the casino’s valet area, and Offset was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury. The incident was separate from the MotorCity lawsuit and the latest blackjack dispute in Paris.

While Offset’s casino appearances and high-stakes wagering have attracted considerable public attention, the available reports do not establish claims circulating online that he has a gambling addiction. The documented developments are limited to his casino play, the MotorCity civil dispute and the incidents reported at casino properties this year.
