Prophet Exchange Holds Opening Ceremony to Launch in New Jersey
Prophet Exchange has recently launched its betting services in the US state of New Jersey. This is a significant point for the first peer-to-peer betting exchange start-up in North America nearly four years ago.
Present at the launch was the Prophet brand ambassador Victor Cruz, the New York Giants legend and former NFL Superbowl champion, who partnered with the company in November 2021. He struck the first bet to officially open the betting exchange, and unsurprisingly backed the Giants in a football bet.
Prophet received its operating license earlier this year and the senior leadership at the exchange site stated that the launch was the result of months of hard work and preparation.
Initially, the peer-to-peer betting exchange will offer markets on the following sports, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and NCAA sports. Going forward Prophet Exchange plan to expand its list of sports the site covers when the customer base and betting on its core sports has increased.
Launching here in New Jersey is everything we've been working towards for four years, Being the first start-up and the first betting exchange in the United States regulated market means the world to us and our team here in Hoboken, and globally. We cannot wait to show the public who we are and what our product offers to the market here in New Jersey and beyond. As we say here, to the moon.
Founded in 2018, the management at Prophet Exchange sees this launch as the first step on the way to making the company a major betting operator throughout North America. The advantage of Prophet to customers is that it allows players to back and lay bets on their favourite sports.
There is an overwhelming amount of emotion I feel for Prophet officially launching as the first fully regulated, peer to peer betting exchange in New Jersey, This has been a monumentally challenging journey to date, and to see it come to life is an amazing achievement for our team. That being said, this is only Prophet's first major milestone, and we will not lose sight of our north star: becoming the mainstream sports betting platform in the United States.
