Rootz Appoints Sam Brown as Chief Commercial Officer

Leading online casino operator Rootz has appointed Sam Brown as its new Chief Commercial Officer. Brown will be joining the rest of the Rootz team at the company’s headquarters in Malta and will be responsible for the running of the firm’s commercial affairs unit.

Having spent over 15 years in the iGaming sector working across several C-level B2B and B2C roles, Brown is expected to use his wealth of experience to aid the company’s growth in the global gambling industry.

The appointment is strategic as it is coming at a time when Rootz is looking to expand its presence across established and newly regulated markets. The company debuted its first online casino, Wildz Casino, in 2019 and has since launched four new sites, with the latest being Spinz Casino in March.

Rootz has obtained licenses across several jurisdictions and plans to go live in Germany in the near future and receive the Netherlands and Ontario licenses in Q4 2022.
