SBC to Host the 2023 Sports Betting Hall of Fame Ceremony in New York
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:The Sports Betting Hall of Fame, established in 2016, recognizes the contributions of outstanding individuals in the sports betting industry. On May 10th, 2023, SBC will host the 2023 edition of the Sports Betting Hall of Fame ceremony at the Slate NYC, where four new inductees will be celebrated.
The event will take place during the SBC Summit North America 2023, a sports betting and iGaming event scheduled from May 9th to May 11th at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.
The 2023 class of inductees is comprised of industry heavyweights:
- Michael Gaughan, owner of the South Point Hotel Casino Spa.
- Nick Bogdanovich, Sports Book Manager/Oddsmaker at Circa Sports.
- Trish Lewandowski, Sportsbook District Manager at Caesars Digital.
- David L. Rebuck, Director of the NJ Department of Gaming Enforcement.
The addition of these new inductees strengthens the representation of the US industry in the Sports Betting Hall of Fame. The previous year saw the induction of esteemed members, including Art Manteris, retired VP race and sportsbook operations at Station Casinos; Dennis Drazin, CEO of Monmouth Park; and Chris Christie, former NJ Governor.
It is an honor for those inducted into the Sports Betting Hall of Fame, and this year’s list of inductees boasts some truly exceptional names. We look forward to celebrating their well-deserved recognition within the industry and extending our congratulations for their indelible mark on the industry.
