Schedule Released for Casino eSports Conference Atlantic City
A draft agenda has been published for the seventh edition for the Casino eSports Conference (CEC) taking place on October 18-19 at the eSports Innovation Center in Atlantic City.
The conference is designed to bring together the eSports and video gaming industries and it will focus on the legal, policy and regulatory aspects of the relatively young form of betting. There is a fantastic line-up of speakers with names coming from the worlds of eSports, casino, college and cinema to help industry stakeholders learn about monetizing the video gaming and eSports industry.
The conference opens with a talk on the state of eSports before moving on to a session that will examine betting and eSports in the Northeast. It will address issues such as
- What are the current tools for bookmakers in the space and how are they used?
- What makes these new tools a better way for wagering on eSports?
- What other sports are these tools used for?
There will then be a session on eSports in New Jersey before a keynote address from the New Jersey governor’s office. In the afternoon, the conference will be exploring Atlantic City’s perspective on eSports as well as investment opportunities in the skill-based gambling industry.
The second day is no less impressive. It will begin with an exploration of the differences between eSports events and competitive eSports wagering. There will also be a session on marketing to gamers in the region.
The afternoon is dedicated to looking at the relationship between colleges and eSports, such as courses being offered in the field and whether there is a place for eSports in the NCAA or the ECAC. There will also be a session on careers within the field of eSports and a further session on whether it is wise to build links between sports leagues such as the NBA and eSports.
Throughout the two days of the iGaming event, there will also be plenty of networking opportunities giving attendees the chance to build connections and form business relationships.
