22Bet launched in 2018, and over the years it has grown into an enormous casino with more than 6,000 games from over 180 providers. I was particularly impressed by its huge slots and live casino collections, excellent mobile experience, range of bonuses and Canadian-friendly payment methods. I’ll take you through all of this and more in this 22Bet review, so you know what to expect.

22Bet Casino at a Glance
- Best for: Avid gamers who enjoy lots of choice
- Standout Feature: Enormous live dealer casino
- Our Verdict: I was hugely impressed by 22Bet casino, especially compared with other online casino Canada options. The game selection is enormous, with something for every type of player; registration is fast and simple; the mobile experience works well; and Canadians have access to convenient banking methods. There are a few navigation issues, particularly when looking for RNG table games, but these are fairly minor complaints. Overall, I think it has more than enough on offer to become anyone’s one-stop online gambling destination.

- Varied casino promotions, including a welcome bonus, weekly offers and VIP cashback

CONS
- RNG table games can be difficult to find

22Bet Registration Made Simple
I was impressed by the simplicity of the 22Bet registration process. After clicking on ‘Registration’, a form loaded asking me to provide basic details, such as email address, date of birth, and phone number, and to create a username and password. I also had to provide a phone number, and I was immediately sent a confirmation code via SMS to enter in the registration form. Identity verification came later, and while it wasn’t a complex process, it did take a little time to complete. Nonetheless, overall, it was a very straightforward experience.

- There was no need to upload verification documents during the initial sign-up
- I can use the same account on desktop, mobile browser and the app

A Variety of 22Bet Bonus Offers to Explore
22Bet certainly doesn’t make it hard to find the available promotions. The 22Bet bonus page clearly displays the Welcome Bonus, the various weekly offers, tournaments, and so on. It makes it very easy to claim an offer of interest, but I was a bit frustrated by how far I had to scroll down the terms and conditions to find details such as wagering requirements. Overall, it is clear that there are plenty of online casino bonuses and promotions to choose from, such as:
- Welcome Package
- Sunday Mega Bonus
- Weekly Race from 22Bet
- Wednesday Cash Splash!
- Exclusive VIP Casino Cashback
- Crash Lottery
Welcome Bonus
The 22Bet welcome bonus was spread across my first four deposits and offered up to CA$2,210 plus 150 free spins in total. I was offered 100% up to CA$440 on my first deposit, 50% up to CA$515 on my second, followed by two 25% bonuses worth up to CA$590 and CA$665. Cash bonuses have a 35x wagering requirement and expire after seven days.
Free Spins Bonus
The welcome package also includes 150 free spins divided across my first four deposits. I received 30 spins after my first deposit, 35 after the second, 40 after the third and 45 after the fourth. The spins are only awarded after I redeemed the corresponding cash bonus. The first two sets were for Aloha King Elvis!, while the third and fourth sets could be used on Johnny Cash.
Weekly Bonuses
Another great 22Bet casino bonus is the Wednesday Cash Splash, offering 50% up to CA$330 on Wednesday deposits of at least CA$7. The bonus is credited automatically unless I have opted out, so no 22Bet promo code is needed. I then have seven days to complete the 40x wagering requirement, with a maximum bonus bet of CA$7. Check the conditions, as several games and categories are excluded from contributing towards the wagering requirement. There is also the Sunday Mega Bonus, offering 66% of my deposit up to CA$150, plus 50 free spins on Aloha King Elvis!, with Sunday deposits of at least CA$30. Both the bonus and free-spin winnings require 40x wagering within seven days.
VIP Cashback
22Bet has an eight-level casino loyalty programme, starting at Copper and progressing through to VIP Status. Levels one to seven offer 5% to 11% cashback based on net losses, with cashback paid more frequently at higher levels. At VIP Status, cashback is instead calculated on every qualifying bet, ranging from 0.05% on table games to 0.25% on slots. Importantly, cashback does not have a wagering requirement.
Mobile Play at 22Bet Casino
I had no problem finding the 22Bet app in the Apple App Store on my iPhone XS Max, and it took very little time to download over my standard 4G connection. From what I could see on the casino’s website, there is also an Android version of the app. The casino’s website also offers a Progressive Web App (PWA) for both iOS and Android, which can be added to the home screen directly from a browser.
As I would expect from a modern mobile casino, the application gave me access to many of the same games and features as the desktop site. I could log in with the same credentials, play the same games, and enjoy the same bonuses. I also tested the mobile website on my iPhone and was pleased to see that it loaded quickly and the games opened smoothly. In short, from what I could tell, the mobile experience is hassle-free and very enjoyable.
Inside the Extensive Game Library at 22Bet Canada
The 22Bet Canada game library is enormous and hugely impressive. There are far too many games to count, but I did find a blog post on the casino site that claimed there are more than 6,000 online casino games available from over 180 providers, and from what I can see, these numbers are entirely believable. As a result, I’m sure that no matter what type of games you enjoy, you’ll find more than enough to keep you playing happily for hours on end. From the most basic of slots to the latest live dealer and crash titles, nothing is missing.
Slots Galore for Every Type of Player
It’s hard to describe just how many online slots there are at 22Bet, and if I have one criticism, it’s that it is hard to filter them. However, you can search by game name and by software developer. That is why I decided to stick to some of the best-known titles during my 22Bet review. I tried famous slots such as Gates of Olympus (Pragmatic Play, 96.5% RTP), Sweet Bonanza 1000 (Pragmatic Play, 96.53% RTP) and Wanted Dead or a Wild (Hacksaw Gaming, 96.38% RTP).
I was pleased to see that the slots are all available in demo mode, which means it is easy to check volatility, features, RTP, and so on before risking money. Most importantly, with so many games on offer, no matter what themes or features you are looking for, you are sure to have plenty of options.
- Number of Slots: 3000+
- Key Providers: Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Playson, Yggdrasil
- Popular Slot Games: Majestic Wild Buffalo, Code of Fortune, Golden Tomb Guardians
Endless Table Games
It is surprisingly difficult to find RNG table games at 22Bet Canada, but there is a huge number available. The only way I could find them was by using the search functionality, as there are no separate categories for RNG games. However, once you start searching, the options feel almost endless. I found a vast number of variants of games such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, so I’m sure people will be able to find the exact rules they wish to play.
I tried a few games, such as Red Rake Gaming’s European Blackjack and KA Gaming’s French Roulette, and they all loaded very quickly. With so many options, there is a great range of features, side bets, and game designs available, so even the most demanding of players should be satisfied.
- Number of Table Games: 300+
- Most varied game type: Hundreds of blackjack and roulette variants
- Key Providers: Red Rake Gaming, KA Gaming, Playson
- Popular Table Games: European Roulette, French Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack Switch
Impressive Live Dealer Gaming at 22Bet Casino
The live casino has its own separate section at 22Bet, and just like everything else on the site, it is enormous. I had the choice of games from many of the industry’s top providers, such as Winfinity, Pragmatic Play, TVBet, and Absolute Live Gaming. Thanks to categories such as Roulette, Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Speed Games, Hindi Style, and Game Show, I found it easy to navigate the collection.
I was also very pleased to see wide betting ranges, so the games can be enjoyed on smaller budgets. I tried a few Pragmatic Play blackjack tables as well as roulette games from 88Mojo. No matter which tables I tried, the games loaded quickly, the dealers were professional and friendly, and there was a useful range of features.
- Blackjack Tables Number: 500+
- Roulette Tables Number: 150+
- Baccarat Tables Number: 150+
- Poker Tables Number: 13
- Games Shows and Other Number: 11
- Popular Blackjack Titles: Big Bank Blackjack, Monaco Blackjack, Oasis Blackjack
- Popular Roulette Titles: Lightning Roulette, Opera Roulette, Live French Roulette
- Popular Baccarat Titles: Speed Baccarat, Tao Yuan Baccarat, Baccarat Latino
- Popular Poker Titles: Casino Hold’em, Texas Hold’em Multiplayer, Gravity Poker
- Popular Games Show Titles: Cabaret Roulette, Bingo Live, Sweet Bonanza Candyland
- Key Providers: Pragmatic Play, Winfinity, Absolute Live Gaming, 88Mojo
- My Favorite Game: Mega Wheel by Pragmatic Play
22Bet Casino Licensing, Security, and Player Protection
A quick look at the site footer revealed that 22Bet is operated by Starsten Ltd., which is incorporated under the laws of the British Virgin Islands, and that it is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which was easily verifiable on the authority’s site. Furthermore, the game providers the casino works with are licensed by a number of respectable gambling authorities, so I can say with confidence that the games have undergone rigorous testing for fairness.
Furthermore, there are several responsible gambling tools available, such as deposit limits and self-exclusion options. The casino also uses SSL encryption and advanced firewalls, so I believe it to be a safe and fair place to play.
Canadian-Friendly Banking at 22Bet
I was pleased to see that 22Bet makes banking easy for Canadians. I was given the choice of methods such as Interac e-Transfer, iDebit and InstaDebit, as well as Visa/Mastercard and cryptocurrencies. I went with Interac e-Transfer, and I was able to make a deposit in seconds. The cashier is very well designed, and I am sure that making a deposit with any of the available methods is just as straightforward.
When it comes to withdrawals, the casino says eWallet withdrawals take no more than 15 minutes to be processed, and then funds should arrive instantly. However, credit/debit card withdrawals can take up to 7 business days, while cryptocurrency withdrawals can take up to 24 hours. My Interac e-Transfer withdrawal also came through relatively quickly, with the funds arriving within two business days of my request.
PROS
- Payment methods specifically for Canadians
- Instant deposits are available
- No fees for deposits
- Fast withdrawal processing times
CONS
- Card withdrawals are slow
- Limited eWallet options
Accessible Customer Support
I found several ways to contact the customer support team at 22Bet Canada, including email, contact form, a phone and live chat. There is also an FAQ section on the website that contains a large amount of helpful information. I reached out through the live chat on a Friday morning with some basic questions about banking, and I was answered in just a few minutes. I did have to first work through a chatbot, but the agent I was eventually connected with was very polite and was able to answer my questions quickly. Overall, I have to say that the customer care seems to be excellent.
PROS
- Multiple contact methods
- Support available 24/7
- Well-trained agents
- Fast response times
CONS
- No Canadian phone number
- Had to work through a chatbot first in live chat
