10bet Goes Live in Four African Countries

10bet, the online casino and sportsbook operator, has launched in the African market after careful preparation, which saw it form local partnerships and sign sponsorship deals with professional football teams.

The operator is now live in Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Customers in those countries can now enjoy the operator’s sportsbook via mobile, USSD, and SMS. In preparation, earlier this year, 10bet started investing in African football by signing sponsorship deals with six football clubs, Dodoma Jiji FC (Tanzania), Talanta FC (Kenya), Red Arrows (Zambia), Aduana Stars (Ghana), Enyimba (Nigeria) and Daring Club Motema Pembe (DRC).

The sponsorship not only helps the teams but also reaffirms 10bet’s commitment to improving the standard of football in the African market.

10bet is putting a particular focus on Ghana due to its internet and mobile infrastructures. As such, the operator has formed partnerships with numerous local stakeholders, seeking to disrupt the market.

The operator is also planning to launch in two more African countries in the coming months, and it hopes to be live in a total of 12 within the next 12 to 18 months.

Arthur Perry - CEO of 10bet Africa

It took us years of planning, adapting, and developing our strategy for Africa, but we’re very happy that we’re finally able to roll out our offering across several African countries and deliver quality online gaming and excitement to bettors there. We are extremely confident in our ability to bring a premium experience to every bettor across all our active territories in Africa and will continue to improve our provision to overcome technological, regulatory, and localization challenges to achieve this.
